TSMC Arizona is seeking a Principal Compensation Analyst to join our 4-nanometer fab in Phoenix. The Principal Compensation Analyst operates with minimal direction and serves as a subject matter expert in compensation design, analysis, benchmarking, and program governance.

This role leads complex compensation initiatives that support a rapidly scaling manufacturing operation while ensuring audit readiness and regulatory compliance. The position partners cross-functionally with Corporate, Overseas Compensation, HR, and business stakeholders to design, model, and implement competitive and compliant pay programs. Responsibilities: Lead complex compensation analyses including market pricing, incentive design, job leveling, pay equity review, and cost modeling.

Develop advanced Excel models to evaluate alternative program designs, financial impact, and implementation scenarios. Conduct annual market reviews and benchmark assessments using industry surveys (e.g., Radford, WTW). Partner with HR and business leaders to provide data-driven recommendations aligned to organizational strategy.

Support scaling initiatives through compensation structure design and program enhancements. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, audit requirements, and internal controls; maintain plan documents, SOPs, and supporting documentation. Serve as primary point of contact for compensation design matters and collaborate with HQ TRD teams on cross-functional initiatives.

Mentor junior team members and ensure effective knowledge transfer to compensation delivery teams. Leverage analytics and AI tools to enhance reporting, insights, and operational efficiency. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Mathematics, or related field. 7+ years of progressive compensation experience including program design, benchmarking, survey participation, and implementation.

Strong understanding of compensation governance, compliance, and audit frameworks. Strong quantitative, statistical, and analytical capabilities. Experience with HCM systems (PeopleSoft preferred).

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication skills with the ability to influence across levels and functions. Flexibility to support business needs in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in multinational, high-growth manufacturing, semiconductor, or advanced engineering environments strongly preferred. CCP certification is preferred (in progress acceptable). #J-18808-Ljbffr
