Salary Range: $86,600 - $124,725 pending experience + Super + Allowances
Job Summary
We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher with tertiary qualifications and registration (or eligibility) with the Queensland College of Teachers. You will join a supportive team of educators who work closely with families to create the best learning experience for every child. Your knowledge of contemporary teaching practices and your ability to adapt and nurture a diverse range of learners will ensure that each student feels included, valued, and confident as they begin their educational journey.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons that spark curiosity and a love of learning.
- Set clear learning expectations and employ a range of assessment tools to monitor student progress.
- Reflect on practice regularly to identify opportunities for improvement and to celebrate student growth.
- Implement Catholic values in daily classroom interaction, prioritising student safety and wellbeing.
- Assist in creating a welcoming, supportive environment where every learner feels they belong.
Qualifications
- Primary teaching qualification and registration (or eligibility) with the Queensland College of Teachers.
- Evidence of commitment to inclusive practices and support for diverse learners.
- Willingness to comply with Townsville Catholic Education’s standards of conduct and child‑safety policies.
