Primary School Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and inspiring Primary School Teacher to join our welcoming and supportive school based in Ormskirk working with KS1 pupils. The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning, enabling every child to achieve their full potential both academically and personally.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, creating a positive classroom environment, and supporting pupils’ development in line with the school curriculum and values. The Role

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities, school events, and collaborative initiatives
• Create a positive and well-managed classroom environment where pupils feel encouraged to participate and succeed.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback to support academic development.
• Maintain high expectations of behaviour and achievement.
• Follow school policies and contribute to the wider life of the school.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Have experience teaching within a primary school setting.
• Has strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging, purposeful lessons.
• Is confident managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Is adaptable, reliable, and able to quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Is passionate about helping young people achieve their academic potential.
