Presales Consultant

Overview

In this role you will be the subject matter expert for Civica Housing & Civica Property Management products, leading software demonstrations and bid responses for local government housing solutions. You will support sales teams by showcasing product features to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The role sits at the intersection of public sector services and Civica’s housing software, aiming to translate client needs into impactful solutions.

You will work to ensure compliant, compelling proposals and demonstrations that align with customers’ strategic goals. This is a chance to influence public sector outcomes by shaping how Civica’s housing products meet sector challenges.

• Demonstrate Civica Housing & Property Management solutions to customers and stakeholders
• Respond to bids and tenders, tailoring content to meet RFI requirements
• Collaborate with sales, technical, and non-technical teams to deliver compelling demonstrations
• Act as primary subject matter expert for the LG division on housing and property management products
• Translate value propositions into customer-centric messaging for presales activities
• Provide consultative presales support and ensure alignment with customer goals

• Sector knowledge: strong understanding of the Social Housing industry, its challenges, regulatory requirements, and pain points
• Technical expertise: familiarity with software technologies in social housing/property management, including automation, data security, and integration
• Excellent communication: ability to tailor messaging for technical and senior audiences
• Attention to detail: precise bid writing and QA to meet tender requirements
• Consultative skills: capable of engaging customers and translating value into solutions
