We are looking for a PL/SQL Developer

MAIN TASKS

• Develop and maintain business rules and application components within the OPAL Rule Engine, built in Java.
• Contribute to the migration of business rules from Sybase ASE 16 SQL to Oracle 19c.
• Analyse existing SQL code and redesign it according to Oracle best practices and performance optimization principles.
• Identify and implement opportunities for SQL optimization, code reuse, and maintainability, including the use of PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions.
• Develop, configure, integrate, and deploy new or existing software modules according to project plans and functional specifications.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and other technical teams to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements.
• Follow established development standards, methodologies, and best practices.
• Contribute to the documentation of technical solutions, developments, and processes.
• Support module integration and deployment activities throughout the development lifecycle.

🧩 YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS

• Professional experience in SQL development, with strong knowledge of Oracle Database (ideally Oracle 19c) and PL/SQL (packages, procedures, and functions).
• Solid understanding of SQL optimization, performance tuning, and database migration, with Sybase ASE experience being a strong plus.
• Experience with software development lifecycle, including development, integration, deployment, and documentation; Java experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for code reuse, optimization, and maintainability.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business teams.
