Platform Engineer, Specialist

Responsibilities Design and implement Google Cloud and Gemini solutions that meet business requirements. Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system performance to ensureuptime, reliability, and SLA compliance. Propose solution architectures and manage the deployment of cloud networking solutions according to customer requirements and implementation best practices.

Is a key participant in new feature development from an implementation perspective, working closely with leadership and occasionally product and engineering teams. Acts as an escalation point for Google Cloud and Gemini implementation‑related issues. Provide expert level Tier 3 technical infrastructure support services for issues elevated from other support and technical service organizations.

Contribute to documentation, automation scripts, and internal knowledge sharing to support continuous improvement. Participate in special projects and performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Undergraduate degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience. 5+ years of cloud engineering experience, including at least 2 years working inGCPenvironments building.

Strong hands‑on expertise withGemini, Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, VPC, IAM, GKE, and BigQuery. Experience building infrastructure withTerraform, Ansible, or Deployment Manager. Strong knowledge ofCI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Cloud Build.

Solid understanding ofLinux administration, networking, and containerization(Docker/Kubernetes). Strong troubleshooting skills in cloud infrastructure, networking, security best practices, and performance optimization. Experience supportingAgile/Scrumdevelopment environments.

Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Specializations that’ll have an impact GCP Professional Cloud ArchitectorDevOps Engineer certification.

Familiarity withAWS or Azurecloud platforms. Scripting experience inPython, Bash, or Go. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple problems simultaneously.
