The Plant Manager is instrumental in coordinating plant activities through departmental managers to achieve manufacturing objectives in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner. This includes developing and controlling profit plans and manufacturing budgets. The position requires strong leadership to ensure successful day-to-day operations, developing manufacturing forecasts, and communicating plant performance to executive management.
The Plant Manager will also build solid partnerships and networks with other departments, plants globally, and key customers. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Direct and manage all plant operations with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, cost and cash (SQDCC). Lead Daily Gemba walks Ensure Revenue, GP, Service level, Past dues, Inventory, Quality & Safety goals are exceeded to annual KPI’s Drive Materials process adherence with planning and purchasing, especially on level scheduling, PBOM forecasting, best cost country buys, Inventory accuracy.
Develop and manage Profit plans, along with overall budgets and capital investments. Develop and execute automation strategy for digital and shop floor. Lead lean transformational journey for waste reduction, create continuous flow & make materials flow Provide leadership for day-to-day operations and communicate plant performance to executive management.
Develop partnerships and collaborate with other functional departments, plants globally, and customers. Ensure discipline with leader standard work, audits and layered audits. Develop and Mentor talent including succession planning.

You delegate and distribute assignments and decision appropriately. For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field, Master’s Degree or MBA preferred. 8-10 years of experience in engineering, materials, or manufacturing operations management. Deep knowledge of lean principles, preferably with an understanding of the Toyota Production System.
