Doctor of Medicine | Neonatal Location: Lexington, KY Employer: VieMed Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days Start Date: ASAP About the Position Neonatologist – Perm Position in Lexington, KY Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Neonatologist to join our esteemed Level III NICU team. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive neonatal care within a collaborative and supportive environment, emphasizing work-life balance and professional growth. Position Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive, high-quality neonatal care in a 32-bed Level III NICU setting.

Manage infants from a high-volume nursery serving approximately 4,000 deliveries annually. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including two Neonatologists and two Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, primarily during daytime hours. Participate in a balanced schedule that includes home-based night call, supported by 24/7 in-house NNP coverage.

Perform and maintain neonatal procedures with hands-on proficiency. Engage in mentorship and contribute to ongoing professional development, particularly supportive of new graduates. Foster a collegial, team-oriented practice environment that prioritizes clinical excellence and compassionate care.

Ensure compliance with Pediatrix standards and best practices in neonatal medicine. Qualifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology. Valid medical license to practice in Kentucky.

Residency within the immediate local area; relocation assistance may be provided. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates must be committed to delivering high-quality neonatal care and willing to participate in call schedules.
