Doctor of Medicine | Gastroenterology Location: Bay City, MI Employer: VieMed Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Gastroenterologist – Perm Placement | Bay City, MI McLaren Bay Region is seeking two highly qualified Gastroenterologists to establish and expand a comprehensive GI practice in Bay City, Michigan. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic, community-focused healthcare environment with a focus on ambulatory and inpatient endoscopy services. Position Highlights: Focus and Responsibilities: Provide ambulatory endoscopy procedures, including advanced techniques such as ERCP and EUS.

Perform inpatient procedures with a strong emphasis on ERCP and EUS specialization. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care in a hospital setting and outpatient clinic. Participate in call coverage on a shared basis, approximately one-third of the time, including support from hospitalists.

Involvement in outpatient GI clinic located less than half a mile from the hospital, facilitating seamless patient care. Qualifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology. DEA license required.

Demonstrated expertise or interest in ERCP and EUS procedures is mandatory. Ability to obtain and maintain an unrestricted medical license in Michigan. Additional Details: Join a facility equipped with a newly built ambulatory endoscopy surgery center.

Shared hospital coverage with great support from experienced staff. Use of Cerner EMR system for clinical documentation. Collaboration with two colorectal surgeons serving the regional community.
