Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner

Job Description Job Description Comprehensive Women’s Health, a primary care practice for women and family members, is seeking a driven advanced practice provider to join our team! Our primary care practice has been a vibrant leader in internal medicine and women’s health services in Montgomery and Prince Georges County since 2007. We are looking for a strong, full-time candidate to provide high quality patient care in our Glenn Dale and Silver Spring offices.

An ideal candidate would split this full-time position between offices, with a consistent, predictable schedule. Responsibilities include : · Independent diagnosis and management of acute, episodic, and chronic illnesses · Perform appropriate physical exams, including complete physical exams and well woman exams · Order diagnostic tests as appropriate and interpret results · Prescribe medications · Develop and implement care plans · Provide thorough patient education regarding their conditions · Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and facilities · Communicate with collaborating physicians and/or specialists regarding patient care Qualifications include : · Masters Degree and current PA certification (will consider a strong new grad) · Ability to work as part of a team · Ability to establish rapport with patients · Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Strong leadership qualities · Experience with eClinicalWorks is a plus.
