A full-time Physical Therapist position is available for the entire school year, providing services to a K-12 student caseload in a school setting located in Whittier, CA. This role focuses on delivering specialized physical therapy interventions that support students' development, mobility, and participation in educational activities. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans tailored to the needs of students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance students' physical functioning and educational access. Provide direct physical therapy services focusing on strength, coordination, balance, and mobility within the school environment. Monitor progress and adjust interventions to ensure optimal outcomes.
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to school and regulatory policies. Desired Qualifications: Valid Physical Therapist license. Experience working with pediatric K-12 school populations.
