PHARMACY TECHNICIAN - RETAIL FLOAT Aspirus Wausau Clinic, Wausau, WI Full Time - Day shift (1.0 FTE, 80 hours per pay period) Compassion. Accountability. Collaboration.

Single. Day. Job Description: Under the supervision of a Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician performs accurate and timely preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical products.
This position will float to other Aspirus locations: Stanley Hospital, Rhinelander Hospital, & Stevens Point Hospital - MILAGE PAID. Hours: Full-time - Day M-F 8:30am - 5pm Duties include but are not limited to: Medication filling. Direct customer contact - answering phones, operating the register.
Working directly with healthcare providers. Inventory management and prescription entry. Insurance processing.
Experience/Qualifications Knowledge of organizational and project management practices is normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Customer service skills and experience are beneficial. Experience in a health-related field, pharmacy, and computers beneficial.
Pharmacy Technician experience is desirable, Pharmacy Technician certification preferred.
