Job Description
Responsibilities Dispense prescriptions and provide counseling on medication use to patients. Compound and dispense medications authorized by medical practitioners. Maintain confidentiality and communicate drug information to patients.
Create and manage daily and weekly reports to support business operations and patient care. Oversee pharmacy operations, including patient safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, personnel, inventory, financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow. Lead and develop pharmacy support staff, balancing assignments to maximize strengths and address development gaps.
Identify and implement business opportunities and solutions to drive growth and improve performance. Adapt to change, adjust plans, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver better outcomes. Serve as a leader who demonstrates empathy, compassion and a “team culture” that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm and pride.
Plan and execute required travel, potentially more than 50% annual domestic travel to additional pharmacy locations in Virginia. Requirements Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) with a valid Virginia Pharmacy License (or ability to obtain one). Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy with a valid Virginia Pharmacy License (or ability to obtain one).
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Willingness and ability to travel within Virginia as required.
Compensation Pay Range: $145,600.00 to $189,280.00 per year. The base salary will depend on experience, education, geography and other factors. The position may include a bonus, commission or short‑term incentive, and participation in the company’s equity award program.
