Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy - Shenandoah, Iowa

A permanent opportunity is available for a Retail Pharmacist to contribute expertise in medication evaluation, preparation, and dispensing at a retail pharmacy setting. The position is located in Clarinda, IA, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Responsibilities include verifying prescribed medications to ensure compliance with professional standards, facility procedures, and state and federal legal requirements.

The pharmacist will perform medication reconciliation processes to support a seamless continuum of care for patients during discharge when possible. Delivering excellent customer service and clinical care is a key focus, along with patient consultations regarding medication dosage, frequency, special requirements, and potential drug interactions.
