Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Personal Assistant to Managing Director role based in Chennai. The Personal Assistant will support the Managing Director with executive administrative tasks, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and organizing daily activities. The role involves handling correspondence, preparing documents and presentations, coordinating internal and external communication, and maintaining confidential records.

The Personal Assistant will arrange travel and accommodation, plan itineraries, and ensure timely preparation for business trips and meetings. Day-to-day responsibilities also include tracking follow-ups, assisting with personal errands as required, liaising with internal teams and external partners, and helping the Managing Director prioritize tasks and deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Executive Administrative Assistance and Personal Assistance skills to support senior leadership effectively.
  • Candidates should possess solid Diary Management skills to coordinate calendars, appointments, and meetings efficiently.

  • Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for professional correspondence, interpersonal interactions, and coordination with stakeholders.
  • Candidates should possess experience in Travel Arrangements, including booking transport and accommodation and preparing itineraries.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to handle multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in office software (email, calendars, word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, demonstrate integrity, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience supporting senior executives, preferably in import-export, logistics, or related industries, is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in administration, business, or a related field is preferred.
