We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Bromley, London for a Permanent Head Veterinary Nurse to lead their nursing team. This role will suit an experienced individual who has excellent communication skills to deliver the best quality service to the practice's loyal clients. The practice is looking for someone who is willing to go above and beyond for the patients and clients, developing trusting relationships with both.

You must have the experience necessary to manage the nursing team with confidence. The ideal candidate is an RCVS registered nurse with a background in small animal care who puts animal care and the welfare for both pets and owners above all else. You will also be able to work effectively as a team to deliver excellent care to all clients and patients.

This role would be most suited to someone who is looking to develop their skills in a busy practice with a variety of interesting cases to deal with. This role is full time for 40 hours per week, along with 1 in 6 full weekends. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

Duties: The role involves all aspects of nursing and includes sharing best practice and supporting and developing the rest of the nursing team. The nurse will be responsible for supporting the PCA's and CCA'S within the team. They will be part of the nurse clinics that run daily.
