Job Description
Elevate your nursing career as a Registered Nurse in perioperative care. Work in an operating room environment and deliver safe and effective patient care using evidence-based practices. This role requires completion of an accredited perioperative course and registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
As a vital member of the surgical team, you will engage in both scrub and circulating roles within the Operating Room and Minor Surgery Clinic. Your strengths in critical thinking, problem-solving, and patient advocacy will be essential in this position. Key Responsibilities: โข Provide perioperative nursing care using established nursing processes โข Function as a scrub and circulating nurse during surgeries โข Advocate for patient needs and ensure safety in the surgical suite โข Collaborate with the surgical team and integrate evidence-based measures โข Evaluate personal clinical practice and professional development Requirements: โข Completion of an accredited nursing education program โข Active registration with CRNA or eligibility for practice permit โข Current BCLS-HCP certification โข Completion of required free courses for lapsed nurses โข Strong organizational and communication skills Become a trusted advocate for patients in a dynamic surgical environment as a Registered Nurse. #J-18808-Ljbffr
