Salary: See Position Description Location : Nantucket, MA 02554 Job Type: Per Diem Job Number: 00070 Department: OUR ISLAND HOME Division: OIH LPN'S Opening Date: 12/15/2025 Closing Date: 11/1/2026 4:00 PM Eastern Description The Town's nursing facility, Our Island Home, seeks a per diem Licensed Practical Nurse to assist in providing direct patient care to the residents of Our Island Home. Requirements: The nurse shall be currently licensed in Massachusetts and must be in good physical and mental health. Completion of an accredited nurse licensure program or if licensed by waiver, he/she must comply with regulation of the MA Department of Public Health.

Prior work experience in a long term care healthcare filed is preferred. Must be able to lift and/or move objects no less than 50 pounds. More intensive physical effort may be necessary to assist with residents when needed.

Fluent in English. Work is performed in a nursing home environment. Hourly rate $30.
