About the Role: We are looking for a People Operations & Compensation Manager to build and scale the operational foundations that enable an exceptional employee experience while ensuring our rewards programs remain competitive, equitable, and aligned with business objectives.

This role will own People Operations and Compensation & Benefits at Frekuent, partnering closely with leadership to design and implement scalable people processes, compensation frameworks, benefits programs, and compliance practices that support our growth. You will play a key role in ensuring operational excellence across the employee lifecycle while helping us attract, retain, and reward top talent.

What You'll Do: People Operations

Own and continuously improve People Operations processes, policies, and employee lifecycle programs.

Manage operational onboarding, employee changes, promotions, transfers, and offboarding processes.

Ensure accurate and compliant employee documentation, contracts, and records.

Maintain and optimize HR systems, employee databases, and people reporting.

Drive process automation and operational efficiency initiatives across the People function.

Ensure compliance with labor laws, employment regulations, and internal policies across all operating locations.

Partner with external legal advisors, EORs and payroll providers.

Develop and maintain employee policies, handbooks, and internal governance frameworks.

Own and manage Frekuent's global compensation and benefits strategy and programs.

Design, implement, and maintain competitive salary structures and compensation frameworks.

Lead compensation benchmarking exercises and provide market insights to support hiring and retention strategies.

Manage annual salary review, promotion, and compensation adjustment cycles.

Partner with leadership to ensure fair, consistent, and transparent compensation practices.

Conduct pay equity analyses and provide recommendations to support equitable reward practices.

Manage employee benefits programs, including vendor selection, renewals, administration, and employee communications.

Evaluate and recommend new benefits offerings aligned with employee needs and business objectives.

Support the administration of equity, stock option, or long-term incentive plans where applicable.

Monitor compensation and benefits trends to ensure Frekuent remains competitive in the market.

Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure compliance with employment legislation and regulatory requirements.

Monitor changes in labor laws and advise the business on potential impacts.

Conduct periodic audits of People Operations and compensation processes.

Manage sensitive employee information with the highest standards of confidentiality and data protection.

What We're Looking For:

5+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, Compensation & Benefits

Strong expertise in compensation management, salary benchmarking, benefits administration, and reward programs.

Solid understanding of employment law, labor relations, and HR compliance requirements.

Experience managing annual compensation review cycles and designing scalable compensation frameworks.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and leverage people data to support decision-making.

Experience working with HRIS platforms, payroll systems, and people analytics tools.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities.

Ability to balance operational excellence with a people-centric approach.

Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
