Job Description

The HR Administration Intern will support the People Administration team in the daily administrative activities related to the employee lifecycle. This internship offers the opportunity to gain practical experience in HR operations, personnel administration, payroll support activities, document management and employee services within a multinational environment.

The intern will collaborate with the team to ensure accurate employee records, support HR processes and contribute to maintaining an efficient and compliant employee administration function.

Key Accountabilities

  • Employee Administration Support
    • Prepare, collect and archive employee documentation.
    • Communicate to Social Security and INEM the new employee.
    • Manage accidents, maternity/paternity/illness leave.
    • Support updates of employee information in HR systems and databases.
    • Attend queries from employees regarding internal processes, policies and tools.
  • Document Management & HR Operations
    • Scan, digitalize and archive employee documentation.
    • Ensure documentation is properly filed and accessible.
    • Support data validation and document completeness checks.
    • Assist in maintaining accurate employee records.
    • Support administrative activities related to employee lifecycle processes.
  • Others
    • Support data cleansing and validation activities.
    • Help maintain HR databases and trackers.
    • Participate in process improvement initiatives and administrative projects.
    • Assist in preparing HR reports and spreadsheets.

Networking / Key Relationships

  • With managers and employees.
  • With People Corporate Team based in Barcelona.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in progress in Human Resources, Labour Relations, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
  • Possibility of internship agreement with a university or business school.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Language fluency: Spanish native, medium level of English is a must.
