Located in Hammond, IN, this contract position offers a dynamic opportunity to work as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) within a school setting during the 2024-2025 school year. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about transforming lives through communication by supporting students facing speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing challenges. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
Implement therapeutic interventions designed to improve speech, language, and swallowing functions. Monitor student progress, adjust treatment approaches as needed, and maintain detailed documentation of outcomes. Provide education and resources to students, families, and caregivers to support communication goals.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care. Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is highly preferred.
Active or pending state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Previous experience in school settings is preferred but not required. Experience with pediatric populations and teletherapy is beneficial.
