Job Description
Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and solutions-driven Payroll & HRIS Analyst to support the day-to-day operations of our HRIS Help Desk and payroll processes. This role serves as a key resource for HR Brand Leaders, providing system support, troubleshooting, and guidance related to ADP Vantage HCM and ADP Workforce Manager (WFM). The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in ADP systems, a solid understanding of payroll operations, and a customer-focused mindset to ensure timely and accurate resolution of inquiries.
Key Responsibilities Provide daily support for HRIS Help Desk operations by responding to inquiries and resolving system-related issues. Serve as the primary point of contact for HR Brand Leaders regarding ADP Vantage HCM and ADP Workforce Manager. Troubleshoot and resolve system errors, pay discrepancies, timekeeping issues, and data inconsistencies.
Support payroll processing activities, including data validation, corrections, and audit controls. Assist in improving multi-worksite payroll reporting for the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). Act as liaison between IT and Payroll for issues related to time files required for payroll processing.
Partner with Risk, Accounting, and Benefits teams to support reporting needs for audits and compliance. Respond to employee inquiries related to pay statements, tax withholdings, and pay card issues. Maintain and update employee data within HRIS systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Collaborate with Payroll and HR teams to ensure timely processing and issue resolution. Identify system trends and recurring issues; recommend and implement process improvements. Document procedures, workflows, and resolutions for knowledge sharing and operational efficiency.
Support system testing, upgrades, and enhancements related to ADP platforms. Assist HR Directors and Payroll leadership with reporting and batch submissions to ADP. Support HR and Benefits teams with required reporting submissions to ADP.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2–4+ years of experience in HRIS, payroll, or HR operations. Hands-on experience with Time & Attendance and Payroll Systems. Strong knowledge of payroll processes, timekeeping, and compliance requirements.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., data analysis, formulas, pivot tables). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Work Environment Hybrid schedule: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote Collaborative and fast-paced HR and Payroll team environment Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting multi-location or high-volume workforce environments Familiarity with pay card systems (e.g., Wisely) Experience with HRIS implementations, integrations, or system enhancements Key Competencies Detail-oriented and highly organized Strong problem-solving mindset Customer-focused approach High level of accountability and ownership Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
