Payroll & Benefits Specialist

MCS Group are delighted to be partnering with an award winning organisation who are seeking an Payroll & Benefits Specialist on a 12 month fixed term contract to oversee an important function within the business.

As the successful Payroll & Benefits Specialist you will receive:

The Role

The Payroll & Benefits Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Managing the end-to-end monthly payroll process.
  • Administer employee benefits.
  • Administer starters, leavers, contractual changes, salary changes, overtime, shift allowances, statutory payments, pension deductions and benefit deductions.
  • Review, check and verify payroll input before submission to the payroll provider.

The Person

The successful Payroll & Benefits Specialist will meet the following criteria:

  • Experience of end-to-end UK payroll processing.
  • Experience administering a time and attendance system.
  • Experience administering employee benefits.
  • Working knowledge of PAYE, NI, statutory payments, and pension administration.
  • CIPP is desirable but not essential.
