Role Description This is a Part-Time / Full-Time on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Bengaluru. The Chartered Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including maintaining financial records, preparing and reviewing ledgers, and ensuring accurate bookkeeping for the firm. The role involves preparing financial statements, handling GST and other statutory compliances, coordinating tax filings, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities.
The individual will monitor cash flow, assist with cost analysis for projects, and provide financial insights to support business decisions. The Chartered Accountant will also liaise with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant qualification (CA) with valid membership; relevant experience in professional services or design/creative industries is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and statutory compliance, including GST, TDS, and income tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, with the ability to manage ledgers, reconciliations, and financial statements accurately.
- Experience in budgeting, cost analysis, and financial planning to support project-based work and overall business strategy.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with design and operations teams on-site in Bengaluru.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly.
- Prior experience in a small or mid-sized design/builder firm, with flexibility to manage both routine tasks and ad-hoc financial requirements.
