Shift Pattern

Continental Shift Pattern – 12‑hour shifts (6:00‑18:00 & 18:00‑6:00) on a two‑week rotation with every other weekend off.

About The Role

Refresco, the world’s largest independent soft drinks manufacturer, is recruiting a Production Team Leader for our Nelson Site. The role involves ensuring that some of the best‑known drink brands in the UK are manufactured to the right quality and delivered on time. You will be part of a supportive team led by the Operations Manager and will help new staff settle in.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to ensure the effective running of the process function and/or production lines and associated systems/equipment, fulfilling the production plan requirements and always demonstrating an audit‑ready production environment.
• Drive the performance of the process function and/or operation of product equipment/machinery and packaging equipment/machinery, including fault finding, changeovers, asset care, and basic machine maintenance activities to maximise OEE performance.
• Audit all monitoring systems required by the Company to ensure compliance with Company Policies/Procedures/Standards and identify and implement corrective actions.
• Work as a key member of the Production Leadership Team, demonstrating Company Values and flexibility to support other teams/departments where required.

Salary And Benefits

Candidate Profile

You will have previous experience of working within a Fast‑Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) manufacturing environment, be focused on driving performance within a team, and maintain excellent standards against Safety, Quality, People, Delivery and Cost. You will have strong leadership skills, be passionate about building a highly skilled and motivated team, and have good IT skills. Level 3 Food Safety and Hygiene, Level 3 HACCP, IOSH Managing Safely and Management and Leadership qualifications are advantageous.
