Transplant Québec , mandated by the Minister of Health and Social Services, coordinates the organ donation process, ensures fair organ allocation, supports the improvement of clinical practices through collaboration and partner engagement, and promotes organ donation in society. In doing so, Transplant Québec actively contributes to ensuring that as many Quebecers as possible waiting for an organ can receive a transplant. WHAT WE OFFER 35-hour work week, spread over 5 shifts of 7 hours, including rotating on-call duties Group insurance and defined benefit pension plan (RREGOP) Annually: 4 weeks of vacation (after 1 year) | 67.20 hours of sick leave | 13 statutory holidays, including 2 floating holidays Permanent unionized position Salary scale 2489 or 1912 from the health and social services sector ($29.81 to $59.12/hour) Recognition of relevant prior experience Free parking IN YOUR ROLE Reporting to the Head of Education and Hospital Development, the Organ Donation and Care Partnerships Nurse Advisor is responsible for organizing activities related to organ donation.

To do so, this person collaborates with the entire Nursing Directorate and Institutional Support team, the medical specialist coordinator in organ and tissue donation and transplantation, and the organ donation committee of the assigned institution. The Organ Donation and Care Partnerships Nurse Advisor acts as a resource person for stakeholders within a shared intervention model at all stages of the donation process. This person approaches and supports families throughout the organ donation process and ensures post-donation follow-up.

The Nurse Advisor plans and organizes professional activities to increase the number of referrals and family consent rates through early identification of potential donors, all while complying with best practices in the field of organ donation.
