Oracle Retail Merchandising System (ORMS) consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Geospatial Manager – MAP with strong expertise in Oracle Retail Planning Cloud and Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS). The role will be responsible for end-to-end solution delivery, configuration, testing, optimization, and stakeholder management across global retail operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Oracle Retail Planning Cloud solutions.
• Configure and support Oracle RMS and related Oracle Retail applications.
• Work closely with business planners and merchandising teams to translate business requirements into effective Oracle Retail solutions.
• Drive Oracle Retail Suite testing, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
• Lead defect triage, root-cause analysis, and resolution of production issues.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation across Oracle RMS, planning solutions, and analytical platforms.
• Develop solution documentation, process maps, and user guides.
• Partner with Retail Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and technical teams to align solutions with business objectives.
• Support Oracle Retail Cloud lifecycle management, releases, environment coordination, and vendor interactions.
• Drive continuous improvement through optimization of planning rules, parameters, processes, and automation.
• Support change management, end-user training, and adoption initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise controls, audit requirements, and data privacy standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• 11+ years of experience in Oracle Retail-focused roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Retail Planning Cloud.
• Strong experience with Oracle RMS (Retail Merchandising System).
• Experience across large-scale Oracle Retail implementations.
• Strong understanding of product and location hierarchies.
• Hands-on experience in Oracle Retail testing, including test planning, execution, integration, and regression testing.
• Experience with Oracle Retail Cloud solution lifecycle, releases, and environment management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
• Experience in retail merchandising, merchandise planning, forecasting, assortment planning, or inventory management is preferred.

Certification

• Oracle Retail Implementation Specialist, or
• Relevant Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) certification.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with experience as Oracle Retail Solution Architect, Oracle Retail Functional Lead, Oracle RMS Consultant, Oracle Retail Planning Consultant, or Oracle Retail Manager will be preferred.
