Optical Network Engineer / DWDM Arlington, VA (Onsite) 12 Months Contract Strong Market Rate We are hiring experienced Network Engineers with strong Optical/DWDM background to support large-scale backbone and transport networks. Required Experience: 4+ years in Optical Network Operations / Support Hands-on experience with DWDM systems in large-scale networks Strong troubleshooting skills across Layer 1–3 Experience with optical planning and modeling tools Technical Skills: DWDM and Optical Transport technologies SONET (OC3, OC48), T1/DS1, DS3 BGP, OSPF, IPv4, IPv6 What We’re Looking For: Strong fundamentals in networking and transport technologies Ability to troubleshoot complex backbone issues Experience working in high-availability production environments If you have real hands-on DWDM and backbone experience, let’s connect.
