Overview Operations Manager – Equipment Manufacturing Pay Range: $110,000–$140,000 base + bonus potential (up to 20%) Summary An established and privately held manufacturing company is seeking a hands-on Operations Manager to take the reins on everything happening inside the four walls of the facility. It’s a roll-up-your-sleeves, walk-the-floor, solve-problems kind of position. You’ll be working with ownership to transform this operation from A to Z.
There’s plenty of structure in place, but also room to improve, refine, and make things your own. Your Day-to-Day Oversee daily plant operations including production, fabrication, inventory, and vendor coordination Run purchasing and supply chain efforts to keep materials on hand and on time Partner with engineering and service to hit delivery dates and quality benchmarks Own internal systems and processes—improve scheduling, tracking, and accountability tools Lead HR-related efforts, including policy development and team performance management Understand and act on key financial indicators: income statements, cash flow, EBITDA Collaborate with ownership on budgets, incentives, and long-term business planning Be a visible, hands-on leader—solving problems, coaching team members, and removing obstacles Qualifications 10+ years of experience leading operations in a manufacturing or metal fabrication setting Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field Mechanical mindset—comfortable around CNC mills, lathes, welders, and industrial equipment Solid understanding of budgeting, cash flow, and financial reporting (especially EBITDA) Direct experience managing teams and leading from the shop floor Strong organizational skills with a bias for action and accountability Someone who can work independently, make confident decisions, and build lasting team trust #J-18808-Ljbffr
