Are you an experienced Operations Manager who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment? If you're passionate about leading high-performing teams, delivering operational excellence, and making a real impact every day, we want to hear from you.

Coll-8 is entering a critical phase of growth, with a clear mandate to scale its commercial operations, expand into new markets and strengthen its customer proposition. With strong foundations already in place, the focus now is on building a more structured, performance-driven and scalable sales capability to unlock the next stage of revenue growth.

As our Day Operations Manager, you\'ll take ownership of the end-to-end performance of one of our depots, ensuring parcels move safely, efficiently, and on time through our growing Out of Home network. You\'ll lead from the front, developing your team, driving productivity, and collaborating across the business to deliver an exceptional service for our customers and courier partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day depot operation, overseeing inbound, sortation, dispatch, and driver debrief activities.
  • Inspire, coach, and develop Team Leaders and operational colleagues to achieve outstanding performance.
  • Deliver productivity, service, and cost KPIs while maintaining a safe and compliant operation.
  • Build strong relationships with drivers, transport teams, and network stakeholders.
  • Support satellite depot operations to ensure consistency across the wider network.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement operational best practice.

  • Proven experience managing high-volume depot, warehouse, or logistics operations.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop frontline teams.
  • Experience delivering operational KPIs, SLAs, and cost performance.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Full clean driving licence and GCSE-level education (or equivalent industry experience).
