Operations Analyst – Mortgage Loan Trading (Dallas)

Join a global financial services firm as an Operations Analyst supporting Mortgage Loan Trading and Structured Finance . This contract role, with potential to go perm, sits within a fast-paced environment focused on loan trading and asset-backed financing across multiple asset classes, including residential mortgages and consumer loans. You’ll support key processes such as loan acquisition, trade settlement, portfolio monitoring, and reporting, while working closely with internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities Manage and service a portfolio of syndicated and bilateral financing facilities Reconcile cash and position discrepancies in coordination with agent banks and transfer agents Execute and settle complex loan trades while reviewing associated legal documentation Communicate with internal teams (e.g., trading desks, legal, tax, technology) and external partners (clients, banks, counterparties) Collaborate with global teams across multiple regions on structured finance initiatives Support large-scale transactions such as loan acquisitions and securitizations across various asset classes Monitor risk metrics and contribute to regulatory and operational reporting Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Math, or a related field 2–4 years of relevant financial industry experience (or 4+ years for more senior consideration) Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong communication skills with the ability to manage relationships across stakeholders Solid analytical mindset with high attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines Team-oriented with a proactive approach Preferred: Experience in mortgage banking or structured finance Familiarity with Tableau or other business intelligence tools Additional Requirements Willingness to work extended hours when needed Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Education Bachelor’s Degree (required) Please submit your resume in Word format for immediate consideration!
