We are currently seeking an Operations Admin Support team member to join our warehouse operations team in Pemulwuy.
About the Role
Reporting to the Logistics Manager NSW, you will provide administrative and operational support to the warehouse team, helping ensure the smooth coordination of daily logistics activities.
This is a hands-on administration role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced operational environment and is confident communicating with transport carriers, warehouse teams and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain weekly CHEP pallet count reporting
- Support pallet management activities as the 2IC
- Coordinate inbound container arrivals with transport carriers and communicate schedules to the inbound team
- Prepare carrier consignments, manifests and other documentation as required
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Logistics Manager and warehouse operations team
- Monitor operational activities and identify and elevate issues or concerns
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external transport providers
- Assist with improving operational processes and resolving day-to-day issues
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with AirRoad's health and safety requirements
- Undertake other duties consistent with your skills, experience and the needs of the business
About You
We are looking for someone who is organised, reliable and enjoys being part of an operational team.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in administration, logistics, transport or a similar operational environment
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A customer-focused approach
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of tasks
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge or experience within the transport and logistics industry will be highly regarded
