Operational Manager

Overview

In this role, you lead and line-manage Occupational Therapists and Sensory Workers within the South Hants Reablement Hub, overseeing clinical management and service transformation. You drive multi-disciplinary collaboration to deliver an outstanding reablement service for Hampshire residents. You will oversee CPD, governance, and KPI performance while shaping resource allocation and on-call operations.

• Clinical oversight and supervision linked to Advanced Practitioners and countywide clinical leads
• Manage allocation of Occupational Therapy and Sensory cases; monitor length of stay and KPI performance
• Demand and resource planning to optimize OT and sensory resources and manage service demand
• Stakeholder engagement with councils, healthcare professionals, consultants, and Lead OTs for integrated delivery
• Oversee Continuing Professional Development (CPD) processes and ensure due process for requests
• Governance and standards, including professional memberships and consistent service provision across the county

• Qualified in Occupational Therapy or ROvi with relevant registration
• Proven leadership experience in managing others and fostering a growth culture
• Sound OT or Sensory Worker background with knowledge of reablement resources
• Strong team player with ability to promote cross-functional collaboration
• Effective decision-maker with negotiation and influencing skills
• Flexible and agile, on-call rota experience for year-round reablement support
