Job Description
Provide holistic cancer care in the ambulatory setting as an Oncology Nurse. Engage in assessments, treatment administration, and patient education while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. This permanent role offers a fulfilling opportunity to support oncology patients through their entire care journey.
You will be responsible for performing nursing assessments, administering treatments, and coordinating follow-up care. Collaboration with a diverse care team ensures comprehensive patient support while working with hazardous medications safely using provided PPE. Key Responsibilities: • Administer treatments and coordinate patient care • Conduct nursing assessments and provide education • Collaborate with multidisciplinary health professionals • Maintain safety when handling cytotoxic medications • Provide follow-up care and support to patients Requirements: • Current registration with CRNM or pending • CPR certification aligned with position standards • Understanding of Canadian Nurses Association ethics • Proficient in MS Windows and relevant software • Ability to legally work in Canada Deliver essential cancer nursing and make a real difference in patient lives through comprehensive care and support. #J-18808-Ljbffr
