This position provides high‑quality professional, pleasant, and courteous services to diverse CAH clientele, including both external and internal customers, via telephone and in‑person. It directly assists court clientele by providing information on proceedings pending before CAH, supports access to CAH's secure courtroom area, and provides limited onsite technical assistance in the courtrooms. The role also involves managing the print queues and delivering mail and packages efficiently to judges and staff to ensure documents are processed in a timely manner.
Job Duties
- Providing exceptional customer service and accurate responses to telephone and in‑person inquiries.
- Retrieving and processing office‑wide mail.
- Maintaining hearing and conference rooms.
- Providing on‑site technical assistance in courtrooms.
- Maintaining office supplies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Data entry skills sufficient to create database records and update entries in a timely manner.
- Customer service skills sufficient to respectfully engage with clients, coworkers, and customers while handling difficult or complex problems and resolving escalated complaints or disputes.
- Data entry skills sufficient to receive and review source documents, compare documents to database information, and edit documents.
- Skilled in document and records management sufficient to maintain electronic or paper files for efficient organization and retrieval of information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Receptionist experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and C‑Track case management system.
- Ability to quickly learn new software.
- Strong organizational and planning skills to meet timelines with limited supervision.
- High level of initiative, effort, and commitment to completing assignments efficiently.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in a seated or standing position for extended periods of time.
- Move and/or transport items weighing up to 20 pounds on a regular basis.
Additional Requirements
- Background investigation prior to employment, including SEMA4 Records Check (for current and past state employees), Criminal History Check, Employment Reference Check, Court Records Check, Education Verification.
