Obstetrics Nurse Practitioner

Location: Boyle Heights (East Los Angeles), CA Near Downtown LA Schedule: 3 Days/Week 24 Hours Overview We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join a collaborative outpatient clinic serving a diverse patient population. This role offers a balanced, part-time schedule and the opportunity to provide comprehensive primary care and women s health services in a community-focused setting. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive history and physical exams for adults and children (if trained) Conduct physicals including pre-employment, school, sports, and well-child visits Provide women s health services, including Pap smears and breast exams Counsel patients on birth control and prescribe as appropriate Diagnose and treat a variety of acute and chronic conditions Order, review, and follow up on lab tests and diagnostic imaging Prescribe medications in collaboration with supervising physician Provide patient education and document care thoroughly Review specialist reports and coordinate follow-up care Support clinic operations, including triage and patient flow as needed Participate in quality assurance, chart reviews, and provider meetings Assist with staff training and provide clinical support when leadership is unavailable Qualifications Master s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Active California Nurse Practitioner license Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Excellent communication and patient engagement skills Knowledge of primary care and women s health practices Current COVID-19 vaccination (including booster, if eligible) Ability to pass a background check Preferred Qualifications Bilingual in Spanish Experience in community health or outpatient clinic settings Why This Opportunity?
