Nursing Home Manager

Home Manager (Commissioning) – Bowdon Forest Care Selection is seeking a Home Manager to drive the commissioning of a new medium‑size care and nursing home in the Bowdon area. The role will be based at a luxury care provider that delivers services in unique settings. Responsibilities Work with senior leadership on the development of the purpose‑built home and lead the commissioning of the setting, including community engagement, assessments, recruitment, and staff team development.

Provide leadership, guidance and support to the staff team to deliver the highest standards of person‑centred care. Hold registration for the home and oversee its budget. Qualifications Experience overseeing care and nursing home settings and achieving good outcomes with CQC.

Commissioning experience preferred, but not essential. Knowledge of the luxury care market. Hold Level 5 Health and Social Care qualification.

Eligible to hold a nursing qualification (RGN/RMN) with an active PIN is advantageous, though not mandatory. In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding and governance systems. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
