Tinies are looking for a bright, bubbly and enthusiastic Nursery Manager to join a brand new Boutique Children's Day Nursery. Situated in a beautiful Victorian building in Acocks Green which has the capacity of holding up to 80 children. Contractors are currently refurbishing the building and the Nursery owner is keen to get the Nursery Manager involved at this very early stage.

About the Nursery: The Boutique Nursery is dedicated to providing parents with an exceptional care and education for your children .

We are very excited in developing the amazing building into a centre of excellence . Essential: At least 2 years experience in nursery management Level 3 Childcare Qualification as a minimum Full Time 40 hours per week What the owner is looking for: Previous experience as a nursery manager is essential An inspirational leader who models very best practice A positive attitude to reflection, review and re-evaluation Flexibility Ability to work on own initiative Excellent communication skills Good written and verbal skills Good organisational skills An excellent work ethic Good time keeping Ability to prioritise effectively Be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check Be willing to attend training courses (For Example: DSL, Food Hygiene, First Aid, Safeguarding, etc) Key Responsibilities : You will be responsible for overseeing the day to day running of the nursery setting. This role requires working in collaboration with others and taking responsibility for working in line with regulatory requirements and following setting policies and procedures.

Providing leadership and management of the nursery, ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to. Being responsible for the smooth running of the nursery, always ensuring high quality care and education. Providing leadership to the team and providing guidance and support to all staff.

Working closely with parents and families, to continue building strong relationships. Working with colleagues and other professionals to make sure that children’s needs are met. Recruiting and inducting suitably qualified and experienced staff.

Ensuring the nursery remains Ofsted compliant. To have a good knowledge of the EYFS. Attend training and meetings as when required.

Any other appropriate duties as and when required. Successful applicants must be able to provide documentary evidence of any childcare qualification(s) and your right to live and work in the UK. Employment with the Boutique Day Nursery is also dependant on two satisfactory references and a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.

We offer a 20% employee discount on childcare within the nursery settings. Job Type: Full-time Pay: Starting Salary of £30,000 plus a generous Bonus Scheme .
