Job Description

This job involves performing patient evaluations, reviewing pretreatment teaching, recommending therapeutic interventions, counseling patients and families, and collaborating with physicians within the scope of practice for physician assistants in the Thoracic Disease Program. The primary responsibility is managing patient care, including after-hours and weekend call duties, documentation, and participation in multidisciplinary rounds. Qualifications include a Master's in nursing from an accredited program, at least 3 years of clinical experience, and appropriate licensure and certifications such as RN license, Advanced Practice Nurse license, national certification as a nurse practitioner, DEA registration, and ACLS/BLS certification.
