NSWOC Registered Nurse - Home Care

Join VON as a Registered Nurse specializing in wound and continence care, providing essential services in home care settings. This part-time role in VON's Visiting Nursing program is dedicated to creating personalized care plans for individuals with unique health needs.

You will leverage your skills in wound assessments and ostomy care, collaborating with a team to improve patient health. With a focus on education and support, your role will empower clients and their families. Key Responsibilities: • Assess and implement individualized care plans for clients • Deliver education on wound management and health practices • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary care team • Mentor and support peers in wound care best practices • Engage in clinical assessment and effective communication Requirements: • Registered Nurse license in Ontario • NSWOCC WOC-EP, IIWCC, or Master's in nursing preferred • Minimum three years of wound care experience • Strong ability to observe and assess clinical issues • Effective communication skills with clients and colleagues Drive positive change and enhance client experiences with your wound care expertise at VON. #J-18808-Ljbffr
