Notes: This is a long-term , fully remote, full-time contract which will work according to a GMT-6 business hours schedule. You may be based anywhere as long as you possess the professional qualities, work ethic, equipment, and reliable Internet needed to work remotely. Bilingual English verbal and written communication are required , C1/C2 or Native level, as you will be working with English customers and coworkers.

Position We are seeking a NextGen EHR Analyst to support providers and clinical staff in resolving electronic health record (EHR) workflow, documentation, routing, and encounter issues within NextGen EHR. This role serves as both frontline support and advanced workflow troubleshooting for clinical operations.

Responsibilities include supporting encounter management, templates, provider inbox workflows, task routing, clinical content validation, and escalation of system or configuration issues. You will support end users directly, document reproducible issues, assist with workflow optimization, and collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders during upgrades and issue resolution. The ideal candidate combines strong technical troubleshooting abilities with an understanding of clinical workflows and provider operations.

Responsibilities β€’ Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for NextGen EHR users and clinical workflows β€’ Troubleshoot encounter, template, routing, inbox, and documentation issues β€’ Support provider workflows including signing, orders, tasks, and document management β€’ Investigate template corruption, workflow automation failures, and routing logic issues β€’ Document and escalate reproducible system defects when necessary β€’ Assist with clinical content validation, upgrades, testing, and workflow optimization β€’ Support MIPS/HQM measure validation and reporting workflows β€’ Collaborate with clinical staff, providers, and vendors to resolve application issues β€’ Provide end-user education and workflow guidance β€’ Maintain issue tracking documentation and support knowledge base updates Required Experience β€’ 3–5+ years of healthcare IT, EHR, or healthcare applications support experience β€’ Experience supporting NextGen EHR/EPM β€’ Experience supporting clinical workflows and provider documentation procedures β€’ Expertise with MIPS/HQM Technical Skills and Knowledge Needed β€’ EHR/EPM troubleshooting and workflow analysis β€’ Claims lifecycle and revenue cycle operations knowledge β€’ EDI transaction familiarity (837, 835, 277, 999) β€’ Payer configuration and fee schedule maintenance β€’ Template, KBM, and clinical content troubleshooting β€’ Task routing, workflow automation, and provider inbox management β€’ Upgrade testing, regression validation, and workflow mapping β€’ User access/security role troubleshooting β€’ Root cause analysis and issue documentation β€’ Clearinghouse and interface troubleshooting β€’ Clinical workflows and provider operations β€’ Front office and patient registration workflows β€’ Revenue cycle management concepts β€’ Insurance and billing operations β€’ MIPS/HQM reporting concepts β€’ HIPAA and healthcare data privacy principles Compensation and Benefits Selected candidates' compensation will be determined by the evaluation of factors including geographic area, relevant skills, knowledge, experience, English communication, and other qualities. Contractors who complete the first 90 days of full-time employment will start earning Paid Time Off of up to 10 vacation/personal days, 5 sick days, birthdays off, and 8 company holidays each year.
