THE ROLE
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial real estate transaction documents, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, and related ancillary agreements.
- Support real estate secured financing matters for lender and financial‑institution clients, including preparing and negotiating loan documentation.
- Handle title and survey review, due diligence, and closing coordination for acquisitions, dispositions, and financings.
- Assist with real estate development matters as needed, including transactional support through project lifecycle milestones.
- Provide practical, business‑oriented counsel to clients and internal teams across multiple concurrent transactions.
LOCATION, SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION
Primarily on‑site in the office, with limited flexibility for needs such as medical appointments and pre‑planned time off.
Compensation
Base salary from $150,000 (final compensation depends on experience and overall background).
REQUIREMENTS
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
- At least 3 years of commercial real estate transactional experience (with openness to substantially more experience for the right fit).
- Demonstrated ability to independently draft and negotiate key deal documents and manage transactions to closing.
PREFERRED BACKGROUND
- Strong law firm credentials and deal experience that aligns with lender‑side or institutional commercial real estate work.
- Comfort working in a primarily in‑office environment.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- Billable hour target: 1,900.
