Overview
The National Neurosurgical Audit Programme Fellowship offers a unique opportunity for a Clinical Research Associate Position, enabling a clinical PhD course focused on data curation and analysis, service strategy and quality improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
The post-holder will work under the supervision of Professor Adel Helmy and contribute to a programme of research analysing and presenting data on all areas of neurosurgical practice in England’s 24 neurosurgical units, covering approximately 50,000 cases per year. The role also involves participation in the Neurosurgical NHS clinic at Addenbrooke's Hospital.
Qualifications
- Completion of general medical training.
- Hold MRCP or equivalent qualification.
- Registered medical practitioner in the UK, or willingness to work towards registration.
- Applicants from any medical specialty and career grade are encouraged.
Employment Details
Position duration: 3 years. An honorary clinical contract with the CUH NHS Foundation Trust will be issued, requiring a DBS check.
