Facility near Chicago, IL seeking Neurology APP locums coverage Rates: $180/hr Opportunity Highlights Start Date: May 4, 2026 (Ongoing). Schedule: Full-time or Part-time (up to 20 shifts/month). Shift Times: 12-hour shifts 7:00 AM 7:00 PM Monday Friday.
Work-Life Balance: No call required. EMR: Epic. Clinical Responsibilities The APP will work closely with attending neurologists and the interventional team to manage acute neurological conditions across the hospital.
Inpatient Care: Perform daily rounding on neurology patients and new patient consults. Acute Response: Manage stroke alerts and respond to acute ED evaluations and transfer requests. Surgical Support: Provide pre- and post-operative management for endovascular/interventional neurology cases.
Stroke Management: Act as a key member of the stroke team, ensuring adherence to high-quality care standards for ischemic and hemorrhagic events. Clinic Support: Intermittent clinic in-basket management and multidisciplinary collaboration. Provider Requirements Credential Accepted: NP or PA.
Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible. Licensure: Active Illinois (IL) State License and Illinois CSR are Required. Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in Neurology (Stroke background strongly preferred).
