Neonatology Nurse Practitioner

Job Title: Permanent Nurse Practitioner - Neonatology Join a renowned metropolitan Atlanta hospital system, where a dedicated and enthusiastic Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) is needed to become part of a rapidly expanding Level III NICU team. This facility is recognized as one of the region s leading maternity and newborn care centers, caring for approximately 1,400 1,500 NICU admissions annually. Here, you will collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment that emphasizes excellence, innovation, and compassionate care for medically fragile newborns.

Job Responsibilities: Provide advanced neonatal care in a Level III NICU. Manage care for critically ill and premature newborns in a high-volume NICU/SCN. Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, including neonatologists, pediatric intensivists, and nurse practitioners.

Deliver individualized, evidence-based care to medically complex newborns. Participate in collaborative clinical decision-making for NICU patients. Support newborn stabilization, treatment planning, and ongoing intensive care management.

Engage in a supportive, well-established practice with strong hospital and community integration. Contribute to a fast-growing neonatal program with expanding coverage needs. Work 24-hour NICU shifts, with scheduling flexibility available.

New graduates are encouraged to apply and will receive mentorship in a high-acuity environment. Qualifications: Current APRN national specialty certification. Minimum of a Master s degree in Nursing (MSN or higher).

Neonatology training/fellowship. Experience in neonatology (experienced candidates only). Clean malpractice/license history is preferred.

Willingness to obtain a Georgia Medical License. Recent NPDB Self Query Report (within past 30 days) is required. DEA must be obtained prior to start.

License and Certification Requirements: APR national specialty certification. GA Medical License (willingness to obtain is highly preferred). Experience in neonatology (required).
