Nanny

Job Overview:

Are you passionate about child care and looking for a rewarding full-time position? A private household in Richmond is seeking a caring and reliable Nanny to look after their child. The role includes not just ensuring the child's safety and well-being but also engaging in educational and recreational activities. Light housekeeping duties are also part of the job.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide nurturing and attentive care for the child

- Plan and participate in educational and recreational activities

- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks

- Keep the living area clean and organized

- Perform light housekeeping tasks (laundry, tidying up, dishwashing)

- Maintain a consistent daily routine for the child

- Communicate regularly with parents about the childs progress and any concerns

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in child care or a similar role is preferred

- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Dependable, responsible, and trustworthy

- First Aid and CPR certification is an advantage

Work Hours and Remuneration:

- Full-time, $20 per hour for 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

- Some flexibility required for evenings and weekends

- 10 days of vacation annually or 4% vacation pay
