About the role

As a Motion Graphics Designer at Sendexa, you'll craft the visual motion language of an African communication platform — product demos, marketing films, social content, and brand animations that make complex APIs feel clear and exciting. You'll work closely with brand, product, and growth to turn ideas into polished motion systems.

What you'll do

• Design and animate motion graphics for product demos, feature launches, and marketing campaigns
• Build reusable animation systems, templates, and brand motion guidelines
• Storyboard concepts and iterate quickly based on feedback from design and marketing
• Produce short-form social video, explainer clips, and website motion assets
• Collaborate with graphic designers and product designers to keep motion on-brand
• Optimize exports for web, social platforms, and presentations without losing quality

What you'll bring

• 3+ years of professional motion graphics or animation experience
• Strong portfolio demonstrating After Effects work and storytelling through motion
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects; experience with Premiere Pro is a plus
• Comfort with Cinema 4D, Blender, or similar 3D tools for simple product shots
• Understanding of timing, easing, typography in motion, and brand consistency
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a remote team

Nice to have

• Experience animating for SaaS, developer tools, or fintech brands
• Basic knowledge of Lottie / Bodymovin for product UI animations
• Illustration or graphic design background
