Metrology Engineer

Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Metrology Engineer to join our automotive team. This role is critical in ensuring precision measurement and quality standards across our manufacturing processes.

You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver accurate dimensional analysis and support product development and production. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute CMM programming for complex automotive components. Apply advanced GD&T principles to ensure compliance with design specifications.

Support BIW (Body‑in‑White) and stamping processes within OEM or Tier 1 environments. Lead project‑management activities, including planning, coordination, and reporting. Manage supplier relationships, including conducting buy‑offs and ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve measurement‑related issues. Qualifications Proven experience in CMM programming and metrology systems. Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).

Background in automotive manufacturing, particularly stampings or BIW. Demonstrated leadership and project‑management skills. Experience in supplier management.
