Job Description Job Title: Medical Administrative Assistant Location: New York, NY 10029 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Contract duration: 2 months with a strong possibility of extension Pay: $21/hr. Duties and Responsibilities: Serve as an intermediary between supervisor and departmental staff by transmitting written and verbal communications, requests, and instructions. Assist with budget preparation and monitor departmental expenses for variance reporting.
Coordinate meetings, office activities, forums, and conferences, including logistical planning. Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, statistical reports, tables, and other documents; transcribe dictation as needed. Screen and prioritize incoming mail; respond or distribute appropriately.
Screen telephone calls, respond to routine inquiries, or direct callers as needed. Schedule patient appointments and referrals when applicable; maintain patient billing records. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications: 2–3 years of administrative or medical office experience required. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
