Description
As a Mechanical Machine Assembly Technician in Genk, you are responsible for assembling machines according to mechanical drawings.- You initiate assembly activities and ensure the smooth execution of the production process.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues are also part of your responsibilities, working closely with the technical department.
- You support the team by maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety, and environmental management systems.
- Working with measuring equipment and having knowledge of fit systems and bearing arrangements is essential to ensure accurate and correct assemblies.
Conditions

Hourly salary: €17– €20/hour (based on experience and agreement)
Fully legal employment under Belgian regulations (social security & pension rights)

Profile
You have a secondary technical degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electromechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience in the sector.- You are experienced in machine assembly and are able to accurately read and interpret mechanical drawings.
- You also have knowledge of fit systems and bearing arrangements, which is essential for accurate assembly and the commissioning of installations.
- You are able to identify and resolve technical issues using a practical, hands-on approach.
- Experience working with measuring equipment is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of relevant software is required.
- You communicate fluently in English, verbally and in writing.
